MURCON LIMITS NEW WEB SITE TO REALTORS® ONLY - 5/6/2005

MURCON announced today the decision to limit commercial property listings on its new NCREIS.com web site to REALTORS® only.

Earlier this week, MURCON launched its new National Commercial Real Estate Information Service, NCREIS.com. MURCON announced today that, after discussions with many REALTORS®, it has decided to limit the posting of real estate listings to those belonging to licensed REALTORS®.

The founders of MURCON and authors of the NCREIS.com web site have investments in the real estate industry and, although not licensed REALTORS® themselves, ascribe to the values and tenants of the National Association of REALTORS®. In order to maintain those high standards for visitors who use its NCREIS.com web site MURCON has decided to limit the posting of listings on the web site to REALTORS® only.

Any visitor to the web site can browse the listings and contact the listing owner about the property. Any visitor to the site can register on the site and receive the additional benefits of registration. However, only licensed REALTORS® who are affiliated with an active Board of REALTORS® within the National Association of REALTORS®, may purchase the listing services offered on the NCREIS.com web site.
